These terms & conditions regulate the contract between us, Claudsgate Wildlife Cameras, & you, the customer. By purchasing from us you agree to these terms & conditions as laid out below.
Glossary
Claudsgate Wildlife Cameras. - Herein known as We, Us & Ourselves.
You. - Herein known as You, The Customer or end user.
Goods - Any item supplied by ourselves.
Third Party. - Any person, persons or company not part of the contract between you & ourselves.
General
- Our contract shall be governed by the laws of England & shall not be governed by any other legislation.
- We make no claims that any item on this site meets the laws & regulations of other countries & as such it is your responsibility that you comply with any local laws that may be applicable.
- You agree that all content of this web site is the property of Claudsgate Wildlife Cameras & their agents & as such you will not copy, distribute or imitate any of the media, photographs or artwork here in.
- We reserve the right to update the specification of goods supplied & make no guarantees or warranties to the content of this site.
- We disclaim all liability, warranties or other representations in regards to the material on this site or actions due to your use or downloads from it. All rectifications of any virus or fault caused by your use of this web site is the responsibility of the user.
- We will comply to all data protection regulations & not pass any of your details to third parties, except in relationship to warranties & repairs where the warranty holder requires such information to necessitate the repair or return of goods.
- These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer as laid down by the laws of the United Kingdom.
Payments & Delivery
- Full payment must be cleared before we will dispatch you your order unless a prior agreement has been made.
- All prices listed are inclusive of any UK taxes & are set at time of contract when payment is made.
- Taxes, duties & charges levied outside of the UK for carriage & import into or within countries other than the UK are the responsibility of you the customer.
- All prices listed are inclusive of carriage charges to the UK mainland. A further charge to cover costs may be levied, if required, for delivery to other destinations outside the UK mainland.
- All UK deliveries are made by Royal Mail Special Delivery & will require a signature on delivery. See Royal Mail website for terms & conditions of this service.
- Deliveries to other destinations out side of the UK are to be prior arranged & by the designated carrier requested by you the customer.
- Claudsgate Wildlife Cameras accept no liabilities for damaged or lost goods for shipments outside the UK however we will assist in anyway possible for you to recover these losses from your designated carrier.
- If payment by PayPal we will only deliver to a registered PayPal address unless a prior agreement has been made.
- All payments are to be made in Pounds Sterling.
- If at any time you order & pay for an item which is out of stock we will contact you to inform you of the approximate date the goods will be available & offer you a full refund if you so require. If you wish to leave the order in place we will dispatch your order within two normal working days of receiving our stock.
- If you have reserved out of stock items we will notify you when we have the items available & we will hold them for five days from such notification. If payment is not received within this time scale the items will be placed on open sale.
- All repayments due for non stock items will be made as soon as practicable & no later than 30 days of receipt of your notification in writing from you that you no longer require the goods & providing that the goods you order have not already been despatched to you.
- All goods dispatched will be securely protected & packaged upon dispatch.
- If there is a mistake in your order or goods are damaged then you must inform us within 48 hours of receipt of the goods & the goods must be returned to us within 14 days if a return is necessary. It is important that you do not sign for goods that have obviously been tampered with or damaged in transit your signature confirms that you have received the goods in good condition there fore any damage incurred is the liability of you the customer.
- If goods are damaged in transit & you have not signed to say they are correct or we have made a mistake then the cost of postage back to us will be refunded to you on your production of a receipt for these costs.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute arising between us in connection with these terms or from the contract between us you agree to attempt to settle the dispute by engaging in good faith with us in a process of mediation before commencing litigation or arbitration.
Distant Selling Regulations 2000
· Under the UK Consumer Protection Distance Selling Regulations 2000(DSR2000) you are allowed a 7 day cooling off period in which you may return the goods for refund.
The following Condition apply
1. We must be notified in writing with in seven days of your receipt of the goods that you wish to return the goods under the DSR2000 act.
2. We must be in receipt of the goods within twenty one days of the original dispatch date from our premises or we will deem that the goods are acceptable & our contract is complete under the act.
3. All goods returned under the DSR 2000 regulations must be in an unused condition with all packaging & contents intact & in a resalable condition. Any damage or missing items will result in a corresponding charge to you & will be deducted from any refund allowed under the act.
4. The memory card supplied is a free incentive to buy from us & as such is not covered under the DSR2000 act. A charge of £12 will be levied if the card supplied has been removed from its packaging.
5. The payment costs of the initial free postage are taken from our profits as a good will gesture to you the customer therefore along with the return postage these costs will be deducted from any refund given.
6. The returned goods must be securely wrapped & insured at your expense
7. If we do not receive the goods then you will be deemed liable & no refund will be allowed.
8. All refunds will be processed within 30 days as laid down in the DSR2000 act.
Warranties
- All goods supplied by Claudsgate Wildlife Cameras are covered by the manufacturers limited warranty from date of sale.
- The camera is warranted to be free from defects in material & workmanship for the period of one year from date of purchase.
- HCO Outdoor Products will at their option repair or replace your camera with the same or a comparable model free of charge.
- The purchase of your camera must be registered either online at http://www.hcodealer.com/warranty.php or by return of any enclosed warranty card.

- Any replacement item will carry warranty to the end of the original warranty period.
- Any warranty claim must be made to ourselves where if possible we will rectify the problem either by telephone assistance or by way of a software update.
- We will pay for any postage required for any proven warranty claim.
- If goods are returned to us under warranty which could be rectified by advice over the telephone or by the application of any software upgrade then you will be liable for payment of all postage costs. Payable in advance of the return of the goods to you.
Disclaimers
- All descriptions are from the original manufacturer & although believed to be correct they are for guidance only & as such they do not form part of our contract.
- As we continue to upgrade our product & services specifications may change without notice. Our descriptions may contain technical inaccuracies & typographical errors which we are more than willing to clarify or correct once bought to our attention.
- We give no warranty, implied or expressed, to the adequacy of the goods for your purposes or infringements of any rights.
- We are not liable for any special or indirect consequential damage or losses in connection with the use of our goods or web site.
- We are not liable for any claims for personal injuries or any third party claims against you or your use of goods supplied by us.
- We are not liable for loss or reimbursement where the information supplied by you is incorrect.
- You agree to indemnify us against any claim, including legal fees, made by any third party due to or arising from your use of the goods supplied by us
